Tatiana > 100 ft. under!!! This is from our submarine trip in the Atlantic Ocean - Cozumel, Mexico. - First time in my life! The Chankanaab reef is part of the world’s second largest coral reef chain located off the coast of Cozumel. The experience was fantastic. However, unfortunately in the winter time there are not too many fish there, because the water is too cold and they go south... :( The light was kind of poor too for photography (the submarine didn't have any external lights). No previous experience with underwater photography either and no filters of any kind, so this is all I could take - different from what an acquarium full of colorful fish can offer (which I hoped to see). I'm very late with this photo meant for yesterday - because of the terribly slow connection, I can only post my photos late at night or very early in the morning (so I uploaded it last night).
Tatiana > 29 Jan.09 Flying diver This a detail of a beautiful metal sculpture, like an arch, on the waterfront in Cozumel. - You can see more details on a larger view, like X2, X3 I worked it a little in Lightroom2 and Photoshop CS3, to improve the contrast and color saturation.

Tatiana > 22 Jan. 09 Cozumel/Mayan descendent people Walking on the Cozumel plaza last week, I was impressed by this lady selling hand crafted bracelets and belts (very nicely and artistically done) - I bought one and took some photos of her and here kids, which didn't turned out very well... Yesterday I saw her again and thought to buy some M&M's for the kids. This time I was more pleased with my captures :) - I treated this one in a sepia antique tone, because I thought it worked better with her overall presence and look.
